Summer Romance STS Blog Train

Choo Choo!  Stuff to Scrap has another great blog train coming through called Summer Romance.  It has a great  beachy, romantic feel.  My part was inspired somewhat by the movie Sweet Home Alabama in the sense that my first thoughts of beachy romance were of glass.  You can download my part here.

At the Horse Races

Scraps N' Pieces has a new kit out today called At the Horse Races.  I love the vibrant colors of this kit as well as all the different ropes and horse elements.  You can pick it up at Stuff to Scrap for only $2.50 this week!

Here's what I did with this kit.  This first layout is of my older son with his Uncle Mike on Mike's horse Memphis.

This one is of the 4th of July Rodeo in Lander, Wyoming.  We were up visiting my husband's parents a couple years ago.  I so lucked out in capturing the top picture in this layout.

Scraps N' Pieces and Scrapping Sisters have a freebie collab on their blogs this week that is absolutely beautiful!  You're going to love it!  This collab is huge.  Here's the Scraps N' Pieces preview.

Isn't it just lovely!?  Here's what I did with this kit.  It worked perfectly to highlight photos of the flowering pear trees in our yard.  I used pieces from both parts of the collab in my double layout.  I also used a template from the Scrapping Sisters.
