Walking in Faith by Scraps N' Pieces and a Freebie!

This kit was requested by Kendra on our Creative Team.  She wanted a Faithbooking kit to scrap the spiritual side of our lives and portray to our children and others our beliefs and values.  I love the blue tones she picked as well as her favorite Bible verses in this kit.  The beautiful papers and elements could even be a little vintage.  This kit is great for all sorts of layouts, but especially great for Faithbooking.  It's on sale at Scraps N' Pieces for half off this week and also available at Stuff to Scrap and My Memories.

This kit worked out perfectly for the wall hanging/layout I wanted to make for my sister.  They found out recently that their unborn baby girl, Alayna, will be born with a heart defect.  I'm proud of the fact that she is clinging to her faith in God in this time and has claimed the song All of Me by Matt Hammitt as one of her songs on this road.  This song challenges us to love with all our hearts even if it means you might lose a piece of it.  If you haven't heard this song before, here's a link.  It's absolutely beautiful!  If you would like to read more about my sister and her family as they walk in faith on this journey, you can find her blog here as well as some background on this song.  It's very touching.  You can't not fall in love with this song after seeing this.  :)
