I created this first layout documenting the flooding at my In-laws last summer for the August Color challenge.

This second layout was created for the August Scraplift Challenge.  The worn paper pack lends itself well to blending!  I always wonder how people create certain effects on their layouts so here you go: I created circles of the beige paper the same size as my photos as a base to blend them on.  Then I used the soft light blend mode on my photos and duplicated them 3 times to create the saturated blend.

Ride It Cowgirl by the Designing Divas

I've got a really cute kit to show you today from the Designing Divas!  I really love the pink and blue combo.  It worked perfectly for some tractor layouts I was doing for my sister.  Although this is primarily a girl kit, there is definately some things you could do with the blue and brown for your little cowboys too!  Check it out.

What’s better in the hot summertime than cool clear water!  Scraps N' Pieces brand new Make A Splash kit was designed with swim team, water polo, and diving in mind, but it's GREAT for all of your Summer water adventures.  Scraps N' Pieces new store  is now open YAY so you will be getting a couple of different options when their kits release.   In the past, they have always sold the kit and cardstocks separately and will continue to do so at their Stuff to Scrap store.  In the new Scraps N Pieces store and at My Memories, the kits will be packaged with those additional papers already in them so they will appear more expensive.  It all ends up being the same though if you want the whole thing.  If not, you can just get the kit and cardstocks separately at Stuff to Scrap.  Here is a look at this fun new kit.  Previews are linked to the Scraps N' Pieces personal store and the full kit including the extra paper pack is on sale for $3.50 for the next three days.  You can also pick up the same kit at My Memories HERE or at Stuff to Scrap HERE.
