This kit was requested by Kendra on our Creative Team. She wanted a Faithbooking kit to scrap the spiritual side of our lives and portray to our children and others our beliefs and values. I love the blue tones she picked as well as her favorite Bible verses in this kit. The beautiful papers and elements could even be a little vintage. This kit is great for all sorts of layouts, but especially great for Faithbooking. It's on sale at Scraps N' Pieces for half off this week and also available at Stuff to Scrap and My Memories.

This kit worked out perfectly for the wall hanging/layout I wanted to make for my sister. They found out recently that their unborn baby girl, Alayna, will be born with a heart defect. I'm proud of the fact that she is clinging to her faith in God in this time and has claimed the song All of Me by Matt Hammitt as one of her songs on this road. This song challenges us to love with all our hearts even if it means you might lose a piece of it. If you haven't heard this song before, here's a link. It's absolutely beautiful! If you would like to read more about my sister and her family as they walk in faith on this journey, you can find her blog here as well as some background on this song. It's very touching. You can't not fall in love with this song after seeing this. :)

Scraps N Pieces is so excited to be the Featured Designer at Stuff to Scrap starting on Monday the 23rd. To celebrate, they have lots of fun for YOU!

First off, they will be having a scavenger hunt in our store at Stuff to Scrap. It will start on Monday and you get a $2 coupon to their store if you get those all correct. Scavenger hunt list and instructions will be in the forum at Stuff to Scrap. There will also be a special challenge in that same area of the forum where you can grab a coupon code for some additional savings on all of their MUSIC related kits and if you participate in it, with one of their music kits, you can earn another $2 coupon to their store. You can earn a $1 coupon if you participate in it with one of their kits other than a music kit.

Next, they will be having a designer chat on Tuesday the 24th at 3pm MT. Attendees are eligible for prizes and Meagan can't be there to host, so Heidi and Lori will be hosting it themselves with an awesome GAME where you can earn pieces of their new mini kit "You're A Hoot". Wendy Tunison Designs has 3 new kits and a bundle available today! Whoot!

I don't know about you but I have never found a planner that fills all my different needs. About 4 years ago, Wendy started making her own at home. She simply creates the pages and prints them out. Now she wants to share her idea with you! In the past she's had them spiral bound with laminated covers, used a bind-it-all to bind it with chipboard covers and most recently (and happily) a small 3 ring binder that she can easily add to and take pages out of. I love the idea and will hopefully have an example to show you soon as well! Wendy added a few page protectors to hold bills, receipts, letters from school and tax items. It's totally customizable! This planner has been created with her black and white Simplicity kit which makes it even more versatile! You can add more ellies if you like for a splash of color and it's still easy on the printer ink!

The Simplicity Planner is a set of 5.5x8.5" customizable sheets. Wendy added all of the ellies and spaces for you. All you need to do is customize it for your own needs. She has made each of the pages as both left and right facing so that you can easily put them in any order you'd like as well.

Here are a couple of examples of how she customized hers to plan, capture and remember details of her year! It will be perfect for any P365 project too!

She couldn't decide which color she wanted to pop with it. So, she started with one and then she decided that maybe she wanted two. Then the kit was HUGE! So, she decided to stick with her original idea of a black & white kit and make some add ons in different colors to go with it! This week she only made two colors to go with it but she has big plans to make more colorful add ons in the future. That way you'll have some serious variety to play with! Are you ready to see it? Warm Fall Days from Adriana's Cafe, Fall- Autumn Word Art from Fleur De Scrap, and a Freebie!

An oldie but a goodie- Warm Fall Days is great fall kit that can be used with a range of fall photos! I love the included alpha and word art.

I had a combination assignment this month that included Adriana's kit above in combination with this great word art from Fleur De Scrap called Fall-Autumn Word Art. It was a little tricky to figure out at first since this word art is only one layer, but it can be pulled apart and clipped to paper using your magic wand tool in PS or PSE or using the cut out studio in DSA2 or CAP like I have.

Check out how I was able to combine these two great products in my pages. The first page I did for the template challenge this month and the second one I did for the Mash it up challenge. If you haven't checked out the challenges here, you're missing out. They're just amazing and full of inspiration this month!
